Rebekah Fa’asau,
CRPC™, CEPA®
Managing Director | Wealth Management
Financial Advisor
At age 13, Rebekah was aware that a career in ballet was not typically consistent with the concepts of material comfort and financial security. Like other children shown the hurdles along their chosen paths, she did not waiver in her commitment. Unlike other children, rather than volunteer her future self to financial hardship, she decided to start a business venture to fund her artistic career.
By age 18, her success had earned her an audience and she traveled nationally to speak of her experiences as a youth entrepreneur.
Today, Rebekah is not a headline performer with the Met, but the lessons she took from her journey continue to guide her life and career. She knows that on the path to any goal worth having, one should expect complications. She also knows that even seemingly intractable problems often yield when you dedicate yourself to finding a solution. Taken further: she believes many challenges to our goals may be avoided with the right application of forethought and preparation.
This is reflective of Rebekah’s approach as a financial advisor. Challenges, if not avoidable, can be addressed. Chaos can be quelled. Effort made today pays with interest tomorrow. These are principles in which she helps her clients manage their wealth and pursue financial well-being so they can keep their eyes on their greater goals. Rebekah’s distinct blend of personal warmth and professional fastidiousness supports this, creating an environment conducive to her clients’ comfort and confidence.
Rebekah has been a financial advisor since 2007, starting her career with Merrill Lynch. She affiliated her practice with Raymond James in 2023, drawn to the company’s commitment to client-first finance and its deep resources for serving sophisticated clients’ complex objectives.
Rebekah holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of the Incarnate Word, graduating magna cum laude. She has also completed additional professional training on the topic of retirement planning, earning the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®) designation. In 2025, she further expanded her expertise by earning the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation through the Exit Planning Institute. This advanced training deepened her work with business owners, equipping her to help grow transferable value, assess exit readiness, and strategically prepare for a successful transition into life beyond the business.
Originally from Florida, Rebekah’s family moved often when she was a child. She lived in Texas and Georgia for a time, as well as Germany for more than five years. She has lived in Boise since 2014.
Rebekah and her husband, James, have two children, and together the family enjoys taking advantage of Idaho’s natural splendors by biking, skiing, kayaking and hiking. She also supports the Capstone Primary School in Uganda and serves as the sponsorship chair of an annual golf tournament to support the educational institution.
Finer points
Sticky notes or phone app?
BOTH! I carry a pad of sticky notes in all my bags and have multiple apps on my phone that also help me stay organized.
What’s your ideal vacation? Adventure? Relaxation? Enlightenment?
If it's with the kids – adventure. If it's a "Mommy/Daddy trip" – relaxation! A tropical beach, pool, good spa, and great food are essentials there.
What’s your favorite TV show/movie genre?
My husband and I love the classics from our era like Cheers, Frasier, and Magnum P.I. I'm also a big fan of British dramas like Downton Abbey and The Crown—I watch those on my own as my husband does not share my enthusiasm for the Brits!
Top 5 books you'll find on my iPad "Want To Read" list:
“Silver Spoon Kids,” “Raising Giant Killers,” “The Magic of Thinking Big”, “The Psychology of Money,” and a few political biographies by Edward Klein.
What's the best piece of business advice you've ever received?
Be authentic. People are looking for someone they can trust and authenticity builds trust faster than anything else.
What’s something you carry in your bag that has solved more problems than people would guess?
A Tide stain removing pen.
You’re settling in for a long bout of intensely focused work: what’s your best environment?
A nice cup of hot coffee, a full thermos of water and my Air Pods in with either some great jams or white noise, depending on the task.
Favorite indulgence?
Cookie dough. Oh dear, it's a problem.
You have a completely unencumbered day to yourself. What’s on your itinerary?
Winter: Morning skiing with my 80's playlist followed by a spa massage. End the day with pizza and a movie night with my kids and husband – the cuddles are life-changing.
Summer: Drive two hours north to McCall. Load up with my kayak and mountain bike, ride the trails down Brundage Mountain, then kayak the north channels of Payette Lake. Enjoy a massage at The Cove Spa and then meet the family at Crusty's for their famous Smoke Jumper pizza.
What song will instantly get you up and dancing no matter where you are?
Journey, "Don't Stop Believin'."
What is something people don't know about you?
I get up almost every morning at 4:30 a.m. I'm a big believer that "the early bird gets the worm."
Favorite workout?
Hot yoga.
What's something most people don't know about you?
I'm a graduate of Life Bible College. When we moved to Boise, we discovered our church offered a night program for people with full-time jobs, which was perfect for my desire to dig deeper. I felt led to join in 2018 and graduated in 2020. It was a life-changing experience, not just for me, but also my family.
